These terms of use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Go SQE1, an exam preparation platform operated by Morgan Brown Consultancy Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the platform.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Go SQE1, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

2. Account Registration

To use the platform, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when registering
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.

3. Licence to Use the Platform

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the platform for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

This licence does not include the right to:

  • Modify, copy, or create derivative works based on the platform or its content
  • Use any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering methods on the platform
  • Sublicense, sell, or transfer your access to any third party
  • Use the platform for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

4. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use

When using the platform, you agree not to:

  • Share, distribute, or reproduce any questions, answers, or other content from the platform
  • Attempt to circumvent any security features or access restrictions
  • Use the platform in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service
  • Upload or transmit any malicious code, viruses, or other harmful material
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users or our staff
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform, including but not limited to questions, explanations, text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Morgan Brown Consultancy Ltdor our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

The questions and learning materials on the platform have been independently created for educational purposes. They are not sourced from, endorsed by, or affiliated with any examining body or professional qualification provider.

You retain ownership of any feedback or suggestions you provide to us, but you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use such feedback to improve the platform.

6. Disclaimers

Educational Purpose Only

The platform is designed to supplement your exam preparation and is not a substitute for comprehensive study, professional training courses, or official study materials provided by examining bodies.

No Guarantee of Results

While we strive to provide high-quality practice materials, we do not guarantee that using the platform will result in passing any examination. Exam success depends on many factors including your prior knowledge, study habits, and the specific content of your examination.

Content Accuracy

We make reasonable efforts to ensure our content is accurate and up to date. However, examination syllabi and regulations change, and we cannot guarantee that all content reflects the most current requirements. Always verify important information with official sources.

Platform Availability

We aim to provide uninterrupted access to the platform but do not guarantee that the service will be available at all times. We may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Morgan Brown Consultancy Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising from:

  • Your use or inability to use the platform
  • Any errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the content
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your transmissions or data
  • Any examination results or professional outcomes

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature (when available).

We may suspend or terminate your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice, if:

  • You breach any provision of these Terms
  • We are required to do so by law
  • We reasonably believe your conduct may cause harm to us, other users, or third parties

Upon termination, your right to use the platform will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice on the platform. Your continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

The “last updated” date at the top of this page indicates when these Terms were last revised.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
